How much does shipping cost?

We offer free shipping [5-8 business days] on all U.S. domestic orders! If you would like your order delivered faster, you can select from a number of expedited shipping options listed during checkout. If you have special shipping needs or would like to use your own shipping account, contact us prior to placing your order and we will be happy to help.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! There are a number of international shipping options available. Time in transit and cost is listed when you checkout. We do not offer free shipping on international orders.

Why does expedited & international shipping cost so much?

Unfortunately, expedited and international shipping rates tend to be expensive. We charge you only what we have to pay the shipping provider, no surcharges. If you believe the shipping rates automatically calculated during checkout contain an error, shoot us an email and we can investigate further.

How fast do your products ship?

Orders typically ship within one business day of when the order was placed. Large orders may require part or all of the order to be backordered. We produce all products just-in-time and hold minimal inventory, so orders may take a week or two for production. If we need to backorder a part of your order, we will contact you after you place your order.

Where are your products made?

All of our products are produced in our state of the art facilities with rigorous quality control procedures. The majority of our products are produced in America while the remainder are produced in Europe. If you require a certificate of origin, contact us. Every product undergoes a final quality check in our New York facility before being shipped directly to your door.

I don’t think my test strip is working. Is it defective?

Although this is possible, most of the time the source of inaccurate results is the strip not being used correctly. Test strips can be complicated to use and each is designed for a very specific use. If you are not getting the test results you expected, first and foremost read the instructions again and make sure you are precisely following them, including the timing. If you are following the directions and still getting unexpected results please contact us and we will be happy to assist in troubleshooting the issue. If you purchased the incorrect strip for your application, we will work with you to find the correct test strip.

I want to return my item, how do I go about doing that?

Shoot us an email explaining what happened and why you would like to return the item. We will work with you to find a solution to your problem and issue a return authorization if necessary. We offer free returns if the return is due to a manufacturing defect or a reason in which we take responsibility. Other returns may be subject to return shipping costs or a small restocking fee. All returns must be requested within 14 days of receipt of items and if your return is accepted you will see it credited to your original payment source within 5-7 business days of us receiving it.

Can I use your products to diagnose or treat health issues?

No, you can not. Bartovation products are not approved for use as medical devices and should under no circumstances be used for any health related purposes. Products and product information is for informational purposes only and not intended for use to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Consult a medical doctor when needed.

I am unsure which product is right for my needs, can you help me?

Absolutely! Please shoot us an email letting  us know what you would like to test and we can help you find a product that is perfect for your application.

Do you sell chemicals?

No, we do not sell chemicals.

I am interested in buying test strips for a special application that is custom, what can I do?

We have many customers who we make custom products for. You can read more about these capabilities here. If a test product exists for what you are trying to test, we will find it. If it doesn’t, we will do our best to design a new product for your custom use. Contact us and we will be happy to help you develop a product to your specifications!

Are your products hazardous?

Most are not hazardous at all, require no SDS (Safety Data Sheet) and have no special storage or handling precautions. A few have ingredients that could be considered hazardous if consumed, though the concentration of them on our test papers is so small, it is less than what would be considered hazardous. SDSs for hazardous products are located on the bottom of each product description. The State of California requires us to label and identify products which contain certain potentially toxic materials. These products will have a note on their product page. If you desire an SDS or have questions regarding the safety of our products, send us a message.

Do you offer bulk/ wholesale discounts?

Yes! Bulk discounts are available for most products and are listed next to the “Add to Cart” button on each product page. The discounted price is automatically applied based on the number of units you have in your cart. If you or your business expects to purchase large or frequent orders from us, shoot us an email and we can work with you to meet your needs.

Where can I buy your test strips?

The easiest and most economical place to buy our test strips is right here on our website! Bartovation products are also sold via a number of e-commerce marketplaces and distributors throughout the world.
