This Extra High-Level Peracetic Acid Test strip was designed for testing for high levels of Peracetic acid (0 – 3000 ppm). this range gives food processing facilities the ability to Test for compliance of these solutions with a simple 20 second Test procedure. This product was developed to service the needs of many of our food processing customers who already rely on our other highly economical PAA test strips, such as our 0-50 ppm, 0-160 ppm, and 0-500 ppm test strips.
This test strip is calibrated with easy to read color blocks at 0, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500 and 3000ppm, and gives results in an industry-leading six seconds! This test strip is primarily used for applications demanding a high level of disinfection. Peracetic acid ultimately degrades to water, oxygen, and carbon dioxide, making it more environmentally-friendly than chlorine.
Instructions
Remove one test strip from the vial, being careful not to touch the test pad with your fingers.
Dip the test strip into the solution to be tested for 1 second.
Remove and shake off any excess liquid.
Compare the test pad to the color chart after 5 seconds.
Note: Peroxide concentration levels in diluted samples up to 5% will not interfere with the test.
