Description
Iron in water can cause stains, affect taste, and impact beverage production. Our 0-10 ppm iron test strips offer a fast, easy way to detect low to mid-range iron levels. Our test has easy to read color blocks at 0, .3, 1, 2, 5, and 10 ppm.
Field technicians can test multiple samples in under a minute, making immediate on-site evaluations without the need for measuring, setup, cleanup, or chemical powders. These strips also serve as a pre-test screening tool, detecting potential lab test interferences. these strips detect both ferric (Fe³⁺) and ferrous (Fe²⁺) iron. No meter is required, and each pack contains 25 tests for quick water quality checks.
How to test for total iron in water:
1) Dip test strip into sample for approximately 2 seconds.
2) Shake off excess liquid.
3) Wait 30 seconds, then compare to the color chart.
If you are looking to use this test to test a KDF or other water filtration system you can read our free white paper on testing for iron in water.
