Description

Detects Peracetic Acid Concentration in Peracetic Acid Test Strips. The PAA test strip is calibrated at 0, 10, 30, 60, 80, and 160 ppm, giving results in seconds. Peracetic acid is another sanitizing agent primarily used in some food industry segments, such as organic produce and poultry.

Check with your local health inspector to determine what ppm level you should be reaching. Unlike peracetic acid meters, our product does not require calibration for accurate results. Unlike a PAA drop test, test strips are safer and easier to use.

How to test peracetic acid:

Remove one PAA test strip from the vial, being careful not to touch the test pad with your fingers.
Gently swirl the test strip in solution for 2 seconds
Remove the strip from the solution with the test pad face up.
Do not shake the solution off the testing pad.
Then, wait 10 seconds before comparing the pad to the color chart.
