Description
This strip is made to test the pH of beer mash when homebrewing. It is recommended that you take a sample of your mash and test that, instead of dipping the strip directly in your beer. You can learn more about the importance of and benefits of testing the pH of beer in our article here! This test will not work on distilled water or tap water, so if you are testing one of those and not beer you will not get an accurate measurement.
Instructions:
- Remove one Beer pH test strip from the vial.
- Dip the test pad into the solution being tested for 1-2 seconds.
- Remove the strip, and compare against the color chart within 10-15 seconds. Do not let the pad dry before reading against the color chart.
